This is the Music Degree in Carillon Performance. This is a true academic year-long program. The MDCP certifies the student with a degree in Carillon Performance. Course work includes: history, theory, arranging, composition, performance and marketing. This is a very hands-on, practical and relevant education for the modern musician.
A final performance examination adjudicated by faculty is required.
NACS provides course offerings in specific areas of interest. This is perfect for any educator, musician or perhaps anyone just wanting to learn more about the carillon.
Master classes are available throughout the academic year on a variety of special interests: performance techniques, performing with other musicians, composing popular music, designing shows for the public, advertising, maintenance and other popular topics requested by students.
All master classes can be attended virtually while others will offer in-person opportunities.
